Imagine - Word of Mouth Card

This particular cartridge has lots of quotes on it.  I chose this one and cut it at 4".  I did the layers and used Glossy Accents to put a sheen over the words I pop dotted up.  I added some yellow and red Stickles on top of the yellow/red spots on the background.  I then printed some coordinating paper out and used a Martha Stewart punch to go around the edges.  I used Tim Holtz 'peeled paint' Distress Ink to ink the edges some.  Thanks for looking!

Colorful Owl Clock

Happy Sunday Everyone!  I've been working on multiple small projects today.  One I've had sitting around is one of those cheap Walmart clocks.  I found this owl paper that went with my craft room that I thought would be cute in the clock.  So I just quickly put this together.  The letters I cut with my Cricut Mini at 1.1" using the Craft Room Basics font.  Some Washi Tape around the edge and some bright trim to finish it off.  Kind of funky I know, but it works and is better than the boring white it was :)  I'm working on a card now and so will post that when it's done.

Blog Candy Winner :)

Thank you all for participating in the hop this weekend and thank you for all the wonderful, kind compliments to my projects. I appreciated every single one and have read them more than once.  I printed off the comments, cut them apart, and had my daughter draw one out of a hat (ok, old fashioned but I haven't looked into how to use that random thing yet as this is the first time I've done this :) )  The winner of the blog candy I got just for the hop is.....

Day Two of Blog Hop!

Welcome to day TWO of  Falling for Halloween Blog Hop!!

If you missed the beginning of the hop, please go to Maria's blog to start so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects.

I'll be giving away some fun Fall/Halloween blog candy too! You just need to leave a comment so I can randomly pull a name to win on Monday. You don't have to be a follower.

For my second project, I created two Fall cards.  All of the papers I used are from the SEI 'Field Notes' stack. I know Michael's carries it.  You might not think Fall when you first see it as it has butterflies etc. too.  For this project I utilized my cricut mini and also my Gypsy.  I first had to weld the maple leaf font together with the Gypsy.  I found the leaf font on the 'Go Canada' cartridge. Can't get a better maple leaf than that one :)  The other card is identical except I 'hid' the letters.  I decided to use the leftover letters that came out of the one cut for the other card. No waste! :)   For the shapes they are on, I used the Art Philosophy cartridge. This has some great shapes for frames I think.  Add some pop dots, and these thin gold sticker strips (my friend Adele in England sent them.. I've yet to find them around here) for a little elegance and two finished cards.

FALLING FOR HALLOWEEN BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the Falling for Halloween Blog Hop!!

For my project, I created some artwork to hang up for Halloween with my Gypsy and Cricut. I love cute owls, which is also what my craft room is decorated in for fun. I found this adorable Halloween owl paper and based my project around it. I used the Hoot N' Holler cartridge to create the four owl's (one for each member of my family). They're approximately 3"-4". I used my Gypsy to hide the faces so I could use the Peachy Keen 'Critter Faces' stamps (x-large and medium sized ones). I then used the 'October 31st' cartridge for the fence. I stretched that out to be about 10" long. Then I created the banner by using just a basic font and a pennant for the letters to go on. There's a few different cartridges with the pennant shape on it. The edge was done using the Martha Stewart spider web punch. Some foam dots for depth, and trendy twine for the banner. I think it came out pretty cute.
